REFLEXION

Reflexion is the first album by Lucia Rey Trio, a mixed work in which it is possible to understand the variety of musical influences the artist has collected along her career, interpreted with a free spirit. The work has been recorded in Granada and self-produced, as the result of many months of intensive touring and writing sessions.

An original repertorie which includes Latin music, Flamenco-Jazz, classical sounds and free improvisation; all that filtered by a contemporary jazzist vocation. Lucia Rey music flows through the creative freedom that the Trio grant each other in every concert, together with the double bassist Ricardo Alonso and Fernando Lamas on drums.

Since its release, the album Reflexion has been presented at numerous prestigious festivals and Jazz clubs in Spain (Blue Note – Café Comercial in Madrid, Jazz Filloa in A Coruña, International Jazz Festival in Malaga, Alhaurin de la Torre Jazz Festival, Sala Clamores, Bogui Jazz and Café Berlin in Madrid) with the critical acclaim and great welcome by the public.
